Co-packaging and Product fullfillment-

Co-packaging with demand growing for shelf-stable, heat-and-serve foods, the demand for co-packers capable of packing in emerging formats also is high. Experienced co-packers are in short supply and high demand, but our customers have our legacy of versatility at their disposal. SOPAKCO has almost 30 years experience packaging foods in retort pouches, a track record unequalled in the co-packing industry. In our service to retail and foodservice industries, we pack foil and non-foil (plastic laminate) microwaveable retort pouches, in both pre-formed and form/fill/seal formats. This includes shaped pouches and those with fitments for serving sauces and gravies. Pouch sizes range from single-serve to three pounds and larger. Our annual capacity is in excess of 125 million pouches – a significant advantage for those planning national launches. Additionally, SOPAKCO has the capability to package semi-rigid plastic bowls and trays. New, state-of-the-art lines for bowls and trays are scheduled to be in production in late spring of 2009. Warehousing of finished products is available to support customers’ supply chain requirements.
