SOPAKCO Processing can produce food in just about any type of food container. SOPAKCO Processing offers the following production capabilities:

Hot Fill Technology
State of the art equipment for continuous process flow
Packaging equipment-Cryovac 2002 on-pack
Minimum production run - 40,000 to 50,000 lbs./1,000 cases
Product sizes 2.5 - 7 lbs., flexible pouches
Production process-shelf-stable, acidified hot fill
Any sauce product with high acid (low pH)
Product examples - pasta sauce with and without meat in shelf-stable format

Plastic Bowl and Polytray

Packaging equipment - Raque horizontal, semi-rigid fill & seal machine and Mahaffey-Harder horizontal semi-rigid fill & seal machine.

Minimum Production Runs- hot fill 35,000 units and retort 24,000 units

Product sizes 4 - 10.5 oz. semi-rigid containers

Product examples - dipping sauces, shelf-stable entrees with or without meat

Glass Container Line

Product sizes 8-16 oz. glass with 82 mm lug cap

Retort capacity - five Stock 1300 water air override with or without rotational process at 5,700 units/hour

Low acid and pasteurization capability

Product examples - homogenized sauce and salsas

Flexible Thermal_Stabilized Pouches

Packaging Equipment

Bartelt in-line pouch filler/sealer at 55-65 cycles/minute

Toyo Jidoki preformed pouches

Multi-Vac - Horizontal/form/fill/seal machine

Old Rivers rotary pouch filler/sealer at 15-25 cycles/minute

Surdry high pressure spray retorts

Product Sizes - preformed flexible pouches

Product examples- wet pack fruit, entrees with or without meat
