The United States Government contracts with military food processors, such as SOPAKCO Packaging, to manufacture rations to help feed people in situations where starvation is imminent. These situations range from political uprising to natural disasters.

Unlike the regular 12 meal per case rations that SOPAKCO supplies to the U.S. Government, these meals are usually ten (10) meals per case and is designed to meet all regional, cultural and ethnic requirements. Each meal provides the daily nutritional requirements for one individual.
